February 18, 2013 - Anteprima Chianti Classico 2013 & Toscana IGT (50 TN inside!!) (Firenze (Italy) - Stazione Lepolda): Nice at nose: fruity and floreal (Violet and rose).
Coherent at taste, but a bit too alcoholic and tannic.
10% divided between Merlot, Colorino and Malvasia Nera -

December 29, 2012 - Going back many years the wines from this estate always had gorgeous pure Italian Sangiovese fruit but this vintage appears to be an exception. It's blended and has been for some time now, but the blending grapes seem to have dominated the Sangiovese. It lacks the intensity and purity of previous vintages. The mouth was light, lacked richness and finished short. It's young, obviously, and may come together with maturity, or perhaps it was slightly off, but I was disappointed with this vintage.
