    September 20, 2015 - Simply a crap...

February 7, 2014 - A light ruby color in the glass. Aromas of bright cherries, sweet cranberry sauce, some underlying soy, rhubarb, some roses. On the palate, fine tannins and ripping acid. Tart sour cherries and cranberries, some soot and dusty aspects. Tobacco and wintergreen notes. A bit tart perhaps, and the acid is high. But I like it, and maybe another two years or so will help harmonize this wine. I picked this up for a measly $17, so I'm happy.

April 5, 2013 - This is an already delicious and complete bottle of young Pinot Noir. I prefer PN with some age, but this is unusually charming fruit. Cranberry, red currant, light oak, a bit of game, and true length of flavor. Drink now to 2015. It certainly might evolve to advantage as it has structure, but given the price range $25-30, this does so much better than Oregon and California at capturing Pinot Noir's tricky essence.
