January 21, 2011 - Is only getting better. Beautiful color, brown-sugar nose and almonds and raisins on the palate. Long finish. Drink now.

November 9, 2008 - 2006 bottling. Color almost red - not too developed. The viscocity is not as dense as one could hope but the nose as well as the palate is very delicious. Has a slightly dry aftertaste. Drink now.

January 1, 2007 - Somehow this bottle was far better than the first. More "complete", smoother - actually seemed somewhat older. Drink now.

December 18, 2006 - Beautiful dark tawny color and a smooth bouquet of classic tawny notes (wood, caramel etc.). The palate was more acidic and a bit alcoholic which prickled a pit on the tounge. Not terribly sweet, but nice with a healthy aftertaste of nuts, coffee, tobacco and caramel. Should need a few years more in cask, but it's a swell wine QPR-wise ($11.50/bottle). Drink Now.

October 8, 2006 - Lovely stuff and solid QPR.
