July 12, 2023 - PYCM wine dinner at Anhelo restaurant in downtown Phoenix.
Hard to not be in awe over this opportunity to drink a 33 year old DRC following an awesome PYCM wine dinner- and it be killer. The wine is fantastic in every way- deep, loaded with fruit, spice and everything nice. Wasn’t an environment to take detail notes but the impression was a lasting one- knowing full well we were lucky for the wine to be in such great condition. April 22, 2023 - An immediately arresting nose of Asian spice, smoke, hoisin and dark fruit with savory gamey notes. Drinking stunningly well now but can age a lot longer and I should add drinking much younger than the 01 La Tache tonight.
