    January 14, 2022 - 醒酒三个半小时,闻香有酱味,青椒气息,一些酒精感,入口酸度高,收口微甜,单宁紧致,有一定颗粒感,山楂和李子的果香,余味是一点酒精感和木质气息,一支略感衰弱的酒,不应该出现在这么早的年份,可能是酒的保存状态问题,西施佳雅的真实水平绝对不止于此,今天这瓶没有发挥好。

    December 23, 2021 - Tasted blind, the 3 Aias from the stellar 2010 vintage. The Solaia (96pt) was the most ripe of the them with generous dark fruit and bakery spices, almost like a Pomerol or a Napa Meritage. The Sassicaia (95pt) the most strict, more tannins less fruit, long but not broad. Finally, the Ornellaia (96+) in the beautiful 25y anniversary bottle striking in the middle with excellent balance and length around classic aromas of dark fruit and earthy elements. Confirms how good the 2010 vintage in Tuscany was.

    October 17, 2021 - Dinner out in Jersey with some friends: Still very young. Big and powerful and yet perhaps because we've been there there's something about this wine that reminds me of the sea that is not all that far away. Maybe a certain minerality or seabed or something. Drinks nicely but I'd give it a lot more time.

    Dark garnet. Hint of cellar on the nose.

    Pnp. Smooth and integrated. Woody fine tannins.
