March 19, 2024 - Silky, subdued black cherry and cocoa, good acid, medium finish. Surprised it lasted.

November 5, 2020 - Unfortunately, two bottles of this were hiding in my cellar; Definitely past its prime; Dark notes and turning to prune flavors; Not the wine's fault - it's on me for not drinking sooner

February 28, 2016 - very different than the last bottle - this was dominated by licorice/anise and cigar ash - would like to have seen more fruit, but it was very much in the background

February 21, 2016 - Very little nose, taste starts with cherries in a bed of soft tannins and didn't change as we drank over course of an hour. Very drinkable. Better with food than by itself.

January 29, 2016 - Ripe berries and cherries, very fruity with not much complexity - some tobacco emerged on night 2. OK acid and tannin - a little more of both would be nice, but what's there is acceptable. Overall pretty enjoyable and gulpable for $14.
