January 22, 2020 - Echezeaux Extravaganza: Henri Jayer and DRC 1976-2007 (La Grenouille, New York): The DRC 90 vs 89 comparison reminds me of the Bordeaux 90 vs 89 vintage comparison. The 89 DRC is a bit more intense and structured than the 90. Great depth but could use slightly more length compared to the 90. Signature smokey nose.

December 12, 2018 - Wonderful wine and first DRC. Similar to other notes with the slightly stewed nose and red fruit. Very soft on the mouth and smooth finish. I did think that the wine was a little past its' peak, but that might just be the vintage.

April 20, 2017 - Subtlle Vosne spice on the nose with slightly stewed, but not unpleasant red fruit. Incredibly soft in the mouth with a good finish. Speaks to the vintage. Drinking well now and should hold fore several years with limited upside for me.

December 30, 2016 - Full blown DRC nose, pretty red fruit, earthy, underlined spice, balanced acidity with super long finish. This bottle was excellent.

October 15, 2016 - quite elegant and smooth, not particularly deep or dense, but a good wine
