March 30, 2018 - Very acid, undrinkable. Could have been a storage issue - the cork came out rather easily.
October 2, 2017 - Drinkable, but fruit is all gone. Completely uninteresting wine.
July 16, 2017 - plum red; good fruit and well balanced but rather light; drink now
November 28, 2014 - Notes of wood, cedar, lead, blackcurrant, rubber.
Grippy tannins.
November 2, 2008 - Elegant, earthy and pure. Nice pencil lead, graphite minerality in the middle. light body. goes well with earthy food. recommended.
June 21, 2007 - I brought this to dinner at Citron with Gaius, Sabrina and Linda. Decanted for sediment and air. Wonderful earthy, fungal aroma evolving over time. Warm dark fruit flavor but relatively tight structure. Hardly shows its age.
May 26, 2007 - not bad, but the fruit is very muted
September 3, 2003 - Liverpool Offline (Everyman Theatre, Liverpool): Very delicate, elegant nose. Blackcurrant/raspberry leaf with blackcurrant fruit. Lovely attack. Fills well, but rather hard and almost slatey on middle. Quite light on finish. A touch short.
