February 1, 2018 - Drinking still good with this wine. Well integrated tannins and alcohol. Nice fruit.
July 6, 2017 - Drinkable, but wish I had it 4 years ago
November 8, 2014 - This wine is a gorgeous garnet color. The nose has hints of boysenberry, graphite, blackberry, and tobacco. The tannins are pronounced and the finish is dry. Good -- not great.
June 29, 2013 - Aerated the wine immediate upon opening. Black berry and currant where apparent in the smell. Wine was fruity with a hint of chocolate. The tannins were slightly apparent. The finish was smooth. This wine is ready to drink now.
May 8, 2012 - Smokey, bacon, sweet.
December 4, 2011 - Still drinking strong - good dark purple color, good structure, balanced fruit. Significant sediment settled out. Drink within a year or so.
March 2, 2010 - Nice, kind of simple. Medium weight and not that spicy but balanced.

November 7, 2009 - To tightly wound, never opened up. Decanted for 2 day's.
August 25, 2009 - Nice example of California syrah. Not as much of a fruit bomb as Washington syrahs. Not much fruit out of the bottle, but very smoky, chewy, and had a lot of depth, especially after the wine was in the glass for a bit.
