April 10, 2015 - Au nez , bois, note végétal , léger poivre , cerise noire . En bouche , on sent les même note qu'au nez , tannin médium + , corps médium + , manque un peu de finesse .

March 14, 2015 - Violets, herbs and garrigues. Blackcurrant and intense with a black olive and savoury, slightly sour finish. I like it but didn't please everyone at the tasting of a dozen people.

October 21, 2014 - The kind of wine that you can serve to wine geek friends and feel a little smugness creeping across your face because ...a) they would most likely have never heard of it and b) they would most likely love it. The kind of wine that feels like an insiders secret - it has the slightly left-field palate from left-field appellation. Perfumed with violets and infused with rose petals.

Stupid crazy wine for stupid crazy price - essence of Northern Rhone Syrah - lots of pepper and orange peel layered across a firm red fruit - but underneath it all are no rough edges or spiky tannins or scratchy finish. Smooth, elegant, quaffable but with a lightness of touch that seems hard to find at these prices.
