Community Tasting Notes 5

October 25, 2020 - Not bad. Light to medium red fruit, slightly dusty tannins, earthy and slightly on the sour side. Very enjoyable with food and can probably stand on its own. Didn’t expect much for $30, but this exceeded my expectations. Would take this over a new world Pinot any day.

April 16, 2020 - PnP through Nuance Wine Finer. Dark strawberry color. Jolly rancher and a little dust on the nose. Very thin on the palate. Candy fruit on the palate. Past its prime. 85-pts. Aloha!

December 6, 2015 - Light fruity nose: under-ripe berries with a hint of wood. Medium acid, medium finish. Simple and quaffable. Probably great for sangria or for cooking.

September 9, 2015 - fine enough. Simple, light easy fruit. Enjoy it now for its fruit. "Old vines", but I don't think it will make old bones...

February 13, 2013 - Decent enough. Light, some pleasant fruit. Good with salmon. Typically weak and simple in terms of flavor for lower-end Burgundy. I really don't know why I bother.
