March 25, 2022 - BYO (Michaels place): Passion fruit and pineapple flavor but for me the acidity is not high enough. The wine seems disjointed but overall, it is a decent wine.

July 18, 2021 - Yellow apples, some honey and lime on the nose. In the mouth, the well integrated sugar is a bit of a surprise - with the vintage and the level of sweetness in mind. Goes well with lemon tart.

March 22, 2021 - Served as a substitute for a corked Premier Trie version of this from 1989. Deep golden, with a nose of honey, lime and fur. Well integrated, and the sugar is very much a part of the wine rather than an added extra. Very fine, and surprisingly versatile in an encounter with a cheese platter.

March 20, 2021 - Chenin Blanc aromas with honey and marzipan. Typical Chenin Blanc also in the mouth. Smooth and opulent. More semi sweet than sweet.

July 28, 2016 - A swathe of European 2003s (Chicago, IL): Served blind (except that we knew it was a 2003). Immediately identifiable as chenin thanks to the furry elements on the nose. The palate is only moderately sweet, and shows some alcoholic disjointedness as well. I guessed a demi-sec Loire -- and was sorely disappointed when this was revealed. There's no way this is anywhere close to sweet enough that I would consider it a Moelleux, and given how poorly put-together this is, I'm shocked that Huet could put their good name on the bottle.
