April 19, 2023 - Dumien Serrette Cornas Patou Vertical (Ariana 2, Kilburn, London): Some sliced beef tomato on the nose, a little liquorice too and a certain agreeable steminess. Palate is cool, very subtly spiced and has a lovely refreshing cranberry tartness.

September 3, 2022 - ESTG: Bandol not Zoom: Old school. Deep, smoky, black cherry, leather, rustic. This is what I love about Syrah, and honest, no-nonsense expression. Absolutely terrific!

July 10, 2022 - Old school style Cornas with mature black plum and cherry, roasted beef, cooked wild mushrooms, leather, forest floor with just pronounced structure. Wonderfully clean for 20+ yo Cornas, while nicely powerful and showing a sense of old vine density that I really enjoy. Probably better a few years back, but still very alive and kicking.

April 1, 2020 - Very classically Cornas with mature black cherry, roasted beef, leather, forest floor with enough rugged tannins and acidity that you can't forget where this comes from. An old vine concentration adds a particularly good dimension, particularly on the finish. Probably better a few years back, but very good now and for the next 5 years.

February 11, 2019 - Bright, nicely bloody with some iron. Good acidity. Vital. Decent complexity and length. Just about ****
