February 7, 2021 - Holding up extremely well, considering its age. Right up there with some of the older Burgundys I've had.

April 27, 2007 - Initially upon opening, a perfume of tart raspberry, cigar, and a pungent spicy herbaceousness immediately gave this Pinot Noir a sense of novelty and uniqueness. The color is a cloudy cinnamon and appeared lean and sinewy in body. After some time in a decanter, dramatic changes in character, appearance, and texture seem to flesh out. An evolution into elegant black cherry, rose petal, and cherry wood - kissed with notes of a damp forest floor. Delicate and charming, this Pinot is a wine that inspires contemplation.
