April 26, 2019 - Apple, tangerine, smoke, a hint of reduction. Like liquid gold. On the.palate, fantastic acidity, tangerine, loads of smoky minerals. Filigreed, and loads of character. So enjoyable.

Day 3 open. Wow, essentially unchanged. A bit of the reduction has blown off, but this is still amazing. No hurry whatsoever to drink this!

January 12, 2019 - light slate golden color. Nose light gassy funk at first that fades; vanilla with some lemony notes. Palate lemony, a bit linear but has an appealing openness on PnP. Good if not profound, though I suppose that's about what you'd expect for its level. 90 pts

January 5, 2019 - Opened 1 week ago, consumed 1/2 of the bottle, poured the remaining wine into a 375 ml bottle, and placed in the fridge for 1 week. Finished the bottle tonight. No degradation after 1 week. Amazing nose of flint, lemon and lavender/floral spice. Special nose. The palate is crisp and lean with a grapefruit rind acidity and slightly bitter finish. Maybe a little diluted and lacking intensity of fruit, but that’s nitpicking for a $40 Bourgogne.

September 2, 2018 - Yeah, these are yummy. Nose shows apple, orange and loads of meursault smoke and minerality...chalk and iodine in the background. The palate mirrors the nose, with a good wallop of acidity and then excellent density. A touch of spice on the very refreshing finish. Absolutely excellent.

July 30, 2018 - So much more interesting and complex than the 2014 from a few weeks ago. Interesting as I love the 2014’s - must be age? Light green / gold color with a nose that excites with white fruit, minerals and sulfur kick at the end. With a good swirl and a gradual increase in temp from the cellar the palate starts to fully emerge. Perfect balance of pure fruit, oak and acid. This is a drink everyday with everything kind of wine (if only allocations allowed it!). Still not as serious as Coche Bourgogne, but what is? Terrific. (90)
