July 11, 2021 - When I first Coravined this, it wasn't bad, but showed too much cranberry for my tastes. When I uncorked the bottle a month or so later, it had advanced slightly, and was very good. I'd decant this bottle or give it more time in the cellar.

January 31, 2021 - Super forward fruit, bordering on dried or stewed. cherry, raspberry with some cranberry? A slight hint of herbs on the finish. Sharer acidity might help but at this point it feels pretty viscous and bold... not really my style, but it’s certainly holding up.

March 18, 2017 - This was was astonishing - really didn't think much of 2011 vintage but this one really sang. Cherry fruit, baking spice, and really smooth.

August 19, 2016 - Top-notch stuff. Full, big, soft fruity nose. Baking chocolate, spices, too. Terrific, perfectly ripened cherries, with high-quality acid throughout. Smooth throughout the mouth, with spicy secondary characteristics in the mid. A finish that lingers. Predominantly fruit throughout, but good secondary characteristics, too. Very good.

July 11, 2016 - This has really come around and is drinking beautifully tonight. The rich, dark red fruit is forward and penetrating but has evolved past that "in your face" stage it was in a couple of yours ago. There's also some Asian spice, earthy undertones and a very nice midlength finish. Quite nice!

June 2, 2016 - Nice nose of red fruits and light spice. Palate is all about the red cherry with hints of cola and some minerality. Mid-weight which is how I prefer my Sojourns. No overt oak. Finish is clean and fairly crisp with good acidity. A very good effort. My only complaint might be that it lacks complexity.

May 22, 2016 - Spicy, cranberry, strawberry. Good bit of acid. Slightly funky balance but a few more years it should be rocking

May 14, 2016 - shallow red fruit flavors with a strong acidic backing the first day but seemed to settle into a much more delicious balanced pinot on the second.
