July 29, 2023 - Firm and fragrant bouquet with leather, fennel, ripe blue berries, clove and earthy notes. Palate is fresh and balanced. Good concentration. Medium-bodied, rounded and supple. Finish is somewhat chalky and clean. Drink now.

September 15, 2022 - Aroma: Lots of earth, some barnyard. Palate is savory, with leather overtones. Dusty tannins with long finish. Very pleasant if you’re OK with fruit taking a secondary role.

April 30, 2022 - Tasted blind. Tons of dried herbs, cool blackcurrants on the nose. Inky and concentrated. Really good.

February 12, 2022 - Bought in 2000 and forgot it was in my cellar. Cork was pristine. Poured without decanting expecting something over the top and insipid. However, colour was deep orangy red. On the palate completely resolved. Still plenty of fruit. slight acidity. No tannins left. Some sweetness on mid palate. Very pleasant but little on the nose which is where I look for most of the joy from a fully mature Bordeaux.

July 5, 2020 - Very light red color tells me it's a couple years past it's prime. Short note and runs hot. Not great but enjoyable for what it is.

June 2, 2019 - This was excellent. Complex thick taste of lead pencil coffee etc. Classic old Bordeaux. No decant. First class. Drunk with Julian.

May 31, 2019 - Looking at the tasting notes in here, I don't think we had the same wine. Tasted blind, I thought it was a great old Puillac or Montrose or Cos. Excellent sexy nose, on the elegant side of the red fruit, with mushroom and even some truffle. The mid bodied palate was even better, some mineral and great acidity to balance this claret. It was openend for 2+ hours before we drank it, and kept evolving, but it is certainly at its peak now. Drink now-2024.

February 9, 2019 - This still needs an hour decant. Then it really sings after another 2 hours open....peak mature.
