    May 28, 2018 - This wine beautifully combines sweet-fruit weightiness with vivid counterbalancing acidity. The nose is complex with tropical, citrus and hint of green fruit. It also has metal, floral notes and vanilla/nuttiness. Slightly higher fruit weight on the palate for a Sancerre, but truly dances on the palate with hard to pin down character that keeps your attention.

    May 7, 2018 - Good colour; classic gunflint, smoky; intense, 'sauvage', smart profile, well weighted; good impact on well balanced finish. Drink now & next 5 years.

    June 18, 2017 - Oeil jaune pâle avec des reflets verdâtres;
    Nez en subtilité, difficle à cerner, tout est en un bloc. Le temps & l'aération font ressortir des notes florales & de l'herbes fraîches. Le miel est aussi perceptible. Dimension empyreumatique & minérale bien présentent.
    Bouche grasse en attaque, en richesse avec des saveurs de melon & de miel. Alcool perceptible, finale sur les herbes, légèrement citronné. Bonne tension notable du milieu du bouche jusqu'à la finale. Aspect minéral bien présent.

    March 7, 2015 - Yellow-green in the glass; lovely nose with hay accents & minerality.

    Tart, almost severe on the palate; this was popped & poured and may need to open up. Persistent on the finish, brisk acidity - this is pretty cool, although not for everyone. I don't know about the elevage, but this wine displays no oak notes whatsoever.

    January 30, 2015 - A private lunch (Restaurant Parkheuvel **, Rotterdam, NL): Decanted. Pure and silky, primary but complete, tightly coiled yet calm, intense yet subtle, flowers and minerals, hint of aniseed, ripe but energetic, very flowing, flower honey and grapefruit, Riesling-like elegance, hint of youthful bitters, very good length. Really singing today, much more open and attractive than in May 2014. A star.
