June 29, 2023 - 55F since acquisition on release - light bright strawberry and hay juice - lovely Bourgogne.

April 18, 2022 - The mature nose wafts mature cherry, baking spice, black plum, sweet oak, and sweet worn leather. Medium bodied with bright acid and integrated fibely grained tannin, it’s reached a good balance. The flavors include cherry, mountain strawberry, spiced plums and prunes, sweet oak, and sweet tobacco. This is really good, if a bit monolithic.

February 18, 2022 - Great nose of red & dark cherry with a Vosne-ish or Chambolle-esque light cinnamon spice. The palate matched the nose, with medium acidity and medium body. An all-around pleasant drink, pairing very nicely with fois gras & pears and the pork cheek osso bucco. When my wife goes for a third glass, you can be assured that bottle is drinking well.

September 18, 2021 - Cellared at 55 since acquisition. Medium dark dull ruby - fresh floral nose dominates w cranberry and cinnamon in background - crisp acids and drying tannins keep this light bodied beauty lively. Quite a showing for an 11 yr old BR.

November 17, 2020 - Youthfullish medium ruby, cellared at 55, cherry blackberry anise cinnamon on nose and palate - bright acids and nice tannins still yet - bitter dusty close. Quite nice for level.
