November 30, 2023 - This wine has definitely continued to evolve and is not as enjoyable as it once was. The nose is really nice and complex with cassis, eucalyptus, black licorice, blackberry, and cigar box. But on the palate it seems leaner and I wouldn't guess this as Australia - seems more like a restrained Bordeaux without a lot of fruit.
November 10, 2023 - Intense dark and red berries and beautiful sweet spices in the bouquet. On the palate the same fruits, a lot of good, fresh acidity and round tannin. Still in its early maturity stage. Beautiful wine.
July 28, 2023 - A big, powerful wine now. Nose muted on opening but revealed plenty of blackberry and cassis after decanting.
A full mouthfeel with lingering blackberry/dark fruits and a long finish. Not tannic.
Really enjoyable now but plenty of time ahead of it.

December 18, 2022 - Not rating as this bottle had leaked and had some slight ullage issues. Opened it as soon as I noticed the issue and it was still perfectly fine, but surely there was some small impact to the bottle.
September 25, 2021 - Deep and dense. A big lick of licquorice on the palate - very surprising. Powerful with a long finish.
It was good but not great. First bottle so will try another in 12 months and see where we are
March 28, 2020 - Dark purple with rusty rim. Sweet nose with raisiny plum and dark cherries, blueberries, capsicum and cedar notes. Medium+ bodied with tannic grip, medium acidity, less sweet than the nose getting more savoury towards the end. Not that complex but it's still quite youthful and should age well.
February 3, 2020 - Superbe vin avec des saveurs de cerises noire et de cacao. Le nez est presque crémeux et fait penser à un gâteau forêt noir. Les tanins sont très bien intégré, prêt à boire.
Beaucoup trop cher dans les millésimes récents (presque 100$), on décroche.
February 1, 2020 - Opened at last Friday wine group.decanted 6 hours earlier. Ripe fruit,good length and balance. Years to go.
January 1, 2020 - Good acidity, well balanced. Red and black fruits. Full red color without any blue or purple. Certainly ready to drink.
