July 24, 2022 - Weak vintage for Burgundy and Bachelet. The wine is green, lacks fruit and complexity. Forget. The Evocelles 2013 next to it killed it.

July 15, 2021 - Intense red. A complex and intriguing nose, mixing sandalwood, violet, bacon and powdery smoke. After all, Bachelet's plot abuts Mazis ! In the mouth, one can feel the cold clay in the soil, the wine is nevertheless elegant, with racy black fruit flavors and excellent juicy acids in good balance. Finishes with decent lenght in a salty finish (ostrea limestone). Very elegant, typical of Bachelet style. Recommended.

January 27, 2020 - With boeuf bourguignon. Honestly not the perfect match. I continue to think that Bordeaux wine is the best pairing with this dish.

    September 26, 2019 - Tried the 2015 and 2011

They were both quite thin and stalky on first pour after 30 minutes both began to blossom and fill out

The 15 was clearly riper and fuller fruit
The 11 was savoury slightly sour but reasonably generous

Both light - medium body, balanced, good with food, enjoyable and drinkable but reasonably simple. 91/100
quiet different to the richer and denser 2009 of the same wine I tried last week - it was a better wine 93/100
So overall both enjoyable... but nothing memorable

March 27, 2019 - Medium garnet. The nose is typically Gevrey, in the earthy spectrum, some mint as well. Elegant palate as tyoical for Bachelet, not diluted or harsh as some wines of this vintage. Some green notes in the finish, not sure this is from whole cluster or underripeness, in any case, they are within the boundary of where they ad to the mix vs. dominating it. Can be approaches with a short decant. Probably best after 2021.

June 12, 2015 - Popped and poured, then consumed over 2+ hours. Black fruit aromas with lots of roasted meat and some dark chocolate. Started with some slightly vegetal notes that certainly softened over the course of the evening, but never quite disappeared.

March 25, 2015 - Pretty strong green pepper and herbal notes already, underripe tannins, not enjoyable unless you like mean greenies.
