June 5, 2021 - Opened and poured. Unfair note, as a crown popped off earlier in the day and tasting this wine with an exposed crown left a twingy, odd feeling. Somewhat muted nose, but gains with air. Will have to update more on day two.

February 21, 2021 - With Chili. Opened and poured. Explosive fruit cobbler, boysenberry nose. Roasted black fruits on the palate....toast, blackberry and lots of blueberry as well. Reminiscent of blueberry preserves spread over a slightly burnt piece of toast. Nice chicken.

November 18, 2019 - Agree with Insane. May be past its prime.

February 3, 2019 - Opened about 20 min then drank over an hour or so.
Light plum nose. Black fruit, plum, green pepper and a bit of dust. Just a hint of stewed prunes made this not my favorite vintage of this wine.
Still a good Biale offering but Probably a bit past it’s prime.

December 9, 2018 - Opened and enjoyed. Very nice offering....dark, thick but not too flabby. Peppery, black fruits, plum, cherry, bramble. Nice.
