Deep ruby core, pale narrow rim. Aromatic with purple fruits, plenty of black olive, a touch of meat, violets. Medium/full bodied, quite mouth-filling, spicy purple fruits, savoury meat tones, lovely supple tannins, contrasting vibrant acidity, good length, harmonious, spice-laden finish. February 10, 2023 - Delicious flavour combination of black cherry, liquorice and spice, which is sweet fruited yet savoury. Fresh & vibrant there’s some super integrated tannins developing notes of melted dark chocolate. Everything is in proportion and balanced. To nit-pick the finish should have been a tad longer but everything else was nigh on perfect. CHP 92 pts

August 25, 2022 - Plush textured, with intense blackberry infused with menthol. Fresh and savoury, it is minerally, spicy and peppery. The tannins are now well-integrated and melt in the mouth finishing with a hit of bitter chocolate. The finish is persistent and overall it’s a wine of many dimensions and nuances. I relished every mouthful. CHP 95 pts
