December 31, 2022 - Soft, round and elegant single varietal of Tempranillo, aged for 14 months in used FR oak and 24 months in bottle. Medium+ ruby colour. Medium intensity aroma of cherries, plums, raspberries, vanilla, tobacco, hints of dried violet petals and spices. Medium body, fresh and elegant with lactic notes, slightly subdued flavours, lively acidity and well integrated oak, finishes with fine grained modest tannins and ripe slightly smoky and dried fruits.

September 7, 2021 - Earthy black fruit nose. Plummy, blackberry fruit with excellent acidity and modest tannins. Nicely balanced it has a somewhat lengthy finish.

March 5, 2019 - Deep ruby, pronounced intensity nose of Black plums, black cherries, licorice, dark chocolate, clove, toast, prune, truffle and forest floor. It has medium (+) acidity, High alcohol, Medium (+) body, Medium (+) ripe fine tannins and a pronounced intensity of flavours mirroring the aromas. It has a long finish. There is a good harmony between the fruit concentation, acidity and alcohol, the tannins are soft and well integrated. The alcohol despite being high, is well integrated and there is a good complexity comprising clusters of primary, secondary and tertiary notes. Overall this is an outstanding wine with potential for ageing and gaining in complexity.

February 10, 2018 - Showing very well. I bought this out of curiosity and sadly only 1 bottle but is was well worth its money. Very clean, delicate, with dark fruit but on the lighter side and also so faint coffee, espresso notes. Very smooth but present tannin accompanied by beautiful acidity. Everything very elegant and maybe just 1 point on the downside: I had the impression it is not quite recognizable as a Rioja wine.

October 23, 2017 - Plum and dark berry nose. Dark fruit is opulent but with sufficient aciidity and tannins to create balance. I think this wine hasn't peaked yet.
