December 4, 2023 - Pop and pour, probably could have used a brief decant. Still very bold tannins, plenty of earth, light cassis.

July 24, 2023 - Pop and pour. Still quite a firm structure. Delicious.

  • Les Kangas Likes this wine: 95 points

May 21, 2023 - This is as good as it gets. Last bottle of six I had and drank the others prematurely in retrospect. Opened and decanted one hour before meal and one hour later it was perfection. Riedel Bordeaux glass.

March 14, 2023 - opened a bottle of this on1/6/2023. Anyone posting a lower score must have had a different bottle than I had. Aroma of blueberry, dark cherry, forest floor jumped from my glass. This is pure Bordeaux at it's finest. Remined me of great wines I've had. 66 Pavie, 75 Latour, 82 Beychevelle came to mind. Will try to find more. 2018 vintage is posting scores of 98-100!. Will cellar those to see how they compare in the future.

February 2, 2023 - One hour decant. Mature flavors showing. Great body and depth in the mouth. Recommend drinking now but this bottle had wine creeping up the cork and so maybe it was aging prematurely.
