October 25, 2019 - Lush and inviting aromatics: ripe black cherry, baking spice and clove. Screams RRV with the balance of fruit and terroire. Well integrated and full-flavored on the palate. More ripe cherry, cranberry, strawberry and forest floor on the palate. Silky finish. Drinking extraordinarily well now.

August 7, 2018 - Light red in color. 14.5% ABV. Drop dead gorgeous nose of red fruits, baking spices and forest floor. Light to medium body with medium acidity. Delicate and ethereal. Cranberry, strawberry, cloves and earth on the palate. Nice length on the finish. Super showing for the Estate Pinot Noir from an underwhelming vintage. Bodes so well for the single vineyard designates. Drink over the next 2-3 years.

July 6, 2017 - At home with burgers, been a little while since I visited this wine. A good entry level wine from Rochioli. Splash decanted and drank over 2 hours.

Medium ruby color. Nose of red fruits, baking spice and "cookie dough" as pointed out by Meredith a few years ago (still there today...) Palate of ripe red fruits, baked strawberry, rhubarb, vanilla, spice. Tart red fruit characteristics on the back palate. Medium weight, nice layered finish.

Tight at the outset, this really started to show about 45 minutes in. In a really good spot right now, nicely matured, good secondary characteristics, very pleasant finish. Not sure it improves from here, should drink at this level for a bit. This has turned out to be a very nice New World Pinot...I think it will be at its best over the next 3 years
