  March 20, 2023 - Really very nice (i.e., outstanding), and reminiscent of my first bottle over 3 years ago. The intervening bottle just wasn't that compelling. This aged BdM is so silky and delicious. Dried red fruits, brown sugar aspects (but not in an oxidized way), cherry pits, Christmas cake, vanilla, mint, cinnamon, and beautiful tannin structure. Mid-palate is so intense, although it might be the 15%ABV. Not hot, though, but certainly a head-banger. First bottle, out of three, was 94, and I think that this is right in that ballpark, but sad to say it's my last one. 93-94.

  February 4, 2023 - Last of 3. The first was clearly bad. The second was much better and this was in between. Plenty drinkable and solid with food, but I presume this lot was not well cared for, as I don't think this approaches the wine that others have described. A disappointing lot overall.
