June 3, 2014 - Earthy and stemmy/spicy nose of sour cherry. On the palate, correct to its Central Otago terroir with a nice balance for an entry level wine. Refreshing and lingering with sour cherrie on the finish. Very well judged.

September 21, 2013 - clear ruby. nice strawberry and dark fruits aromas, quite open nose now. typical CO Pinot Noir, balanced with fruity sweet and acidity. light bodied. dry finish but short.

February 9, 2013 - although it says consumption immediately, it's still very tight. after breathing in glass for half hour, be a bit better. it's really confused how to enjoy 'Gold River'. maybe it's a mistake I open a 2012 vintage in Feb 2013.

    color: 4/5; aroma: 11/15; palate: 14/20; overall: 3+2/10
    TOTAL: 84/100
