    March 10, 2021 - Tasted over 2 hrs
    -nearly semi-translucent red light purple
-expressive fragrant pretty brown spice red fruit rhubarb
-med/med+ acidity, med/med- weight though sappy concentrated mid-palate savory faded red fruit minerality and finishes with some spicy wood, med- tannins
-this is in the zone now, nice complexity and great aromatics

February 21, 2021 - Boysenberry pie up front, moving into a brambly core and an odd, sour finish.

January 25, 2021 - No notes taken but this was beautiful. Complex nose. Elegant but impactful on the palate. Great finish. The complete package! This is in a great place right now and I don't see it improving much from here.

July 6, 2020 - Perhaps slightly better than the last magnum. This was terrific, great aromatics, all pure forest floor and mushroom anchored red fruit on the nose, fragrant and enchanting. On the palate this performed much like a good village level Burgundy though with a different profile that was both warmer in a certain respect, and yet decidedly red fruited. Perhaps the red fruits had a candied edge to them, but the juicy acidity and gentle tannins were quite harmonious. It is not a heavy wine, but felt a bit fuller than the last bottle. Firmly at early peak in this format. A bit simple but lively and pure and refreshing to drink on July 4th! From that Winebid stash.

June 23, 2020 - Good acidity and pleasant light tannins. Not particularly strong fruit but unclear if that’s because the wine is past its prime or because 2011 was a very challenging vintage. Still a well made wine that is drinking nicely.
