February 19, 2023 - Still with great fruit. Glad we drank it now
March 26, 2022 - Very dark red. Blueberry, wet leather, smoky on nose. Smooth viscosity on palate, with melon, pomegranate molasses, blackberry. Fruit starting to fade slightly. Can taste the alcohol but not overpowering and wine is mostly balanced and well integrated. Really smooth. Drink up.

March 24, 2020 - Surprisingly unimpressive for price. It is okay but not memorable. Fruit forward and poor balance and length. Maybe a bad year? Second bottle and just not improving with time. Not the Linne Calado I remember. Disappointed.
September 21, 2019 - A nose of some dark fruit and some and spices, garnet in color. A medium to full bodied Rhone blend, with blueberry, cassis, white pepper and spice on finish, drink now. www.winelx.com
December 9, 2017 - A weak showing from Linne Calodo. I am hoping the cause was the 2011 vintage which was a tough year.
14.4% ABV; 62% Syrah, 27% Mourvedre , 11% Grenache
December 20, 2016 - Medium body, smooth and little complexity. Slight pepper but no fruit to be had. Not my thing but decent nonetheless.
November 10, 2016 - A little green undertones happening for the first 30 minutes. Then the red fruit broke through. Definitely better with an hour in the glass. This one could use a decant.
September 20, 2016 - One hour decant. Dark berry; smoke; mild tannins. Mild acid, slippery, juicy. Slightly simple. 90-91 range.
April 19, 2016 - Hdr Closing Tasting: This is a bigger ripe wine especially for 2011. Yet still crisp acidity. Nice black currants and black pepper. Good texture. Slightly candied on the finish.
