May 14, 2021 - Blackberry, cassis and wet earth nose. Dark berries, soft acidity and modest tannins al combine to form a well integrated smooth mouth feel with a delicious lengthy finish. Supposedly past it’s best drinking window I would argue it is in a perfect place and still has more time to improve although I’m not sure how much better it can be!!

December 5, 2013 - Bright ruby, translucent at the edges to a medium intensity center. Rustic nose of red cherry, herbal spice and shoe polish. Tart cherry on entry, medium body, acidity, and a green veg note. Tight finish. Mostly Cabernet (85/15) with a little merlot. Has some complexity and could improve with some cellar time, but expensive at this price point.

October 3, 2013 - six nations tasting - (pyrmont wharf, sydney): black and red fruit, spice. Chewy, rich but anonymous.
