November 8, 2022 - Last bottle. Good acidity and still drinking well.
June 2, 2019 - Nice nose. Pear and honey tones. Good acidity.
April 23, 2016 - Nose of light spring flowers, with a touch of peach and honey. Palate is similar, with lightly off dry flowers and peaches up front, a minerally center and finish with a hint of honey and a touch of tannin. This is a reasonably subtle wine at this point, with good minerality and decent acidity. In a nice place now, probably won't improve a ton.
November 23, 2014 - "PeterNelson" mentions honey tea, and I get that flavor all over this wine. A touch sweet, with ginger and pear notes. Serve well chilled.
October 20, 2014 - Medium body and rich mouth feel, succulent with good body and balance, a hint of green apple and floral phenolics, nice finish.
September 11, 2014 - yellow with slight copper/peach color; hint of shrooms, cellar must, with baked apple, light honey-tea; viscous, off-dry, not sweet, bit weak in the finish, but good acid, a little phenolic finish.
February 22, 2014 - Still attractive if not distinguished.
December 12, 2013 - Full bodied PG with flinty overtones of the terroir. An alternative to the more common Italian PG's, which tend to be fruitier and less complex. All in all, not as good as a first rate Italian PG, but makes up for it with a character of its own. Nicely different!
October 30, 2013 - strong note of honey with some apricot as well. tart finish
October 25, 2013 - At Seafood Grill, Reykjavik. ISR 9.000. No formal note. This had a reasonably complex, smoky peach nose, with a hint of orange rind, was full bodied and plump on the palate, reasonably attractive stone fruit with creamy notes and low acidity (to the point of being flabby). Not really my cup of tea and not a great choice.
