October 9, 2020 - Definitely benefitted from the patience; this was my last '11 Littorai pinot. Primary notes of plum and strawberry on the nose with secondary floral notes. Mid mouth feel syrupy (in a good way) which transitions into light tannins that leave a nice coating on your tongue. I'd suggest drinking this now...it's at its peak and I don't see it getting any better, although I do believe it has a couple of more years in it.

June 20, 2020 - One needs to like the new world style of Pinot to really enjoy this wine, albeit in all fairness Littorai is a lot more restraint than the usual overdone Pinots. Still though on the rich and ripe side with a lot of palate presence and lacked a subtle, complex side for now at least, but as we said not our style ( Barring Ceritas and Domain de la Cote) of wine. 90

March 26, 2020 - Beautiful bouquet, fully developed... rose petals, strawberries, cherries... also some forest floor, wet leaves, an earthy component... some tobacco notes. Very european; elegant and refined.
Great mouthfeel; nice round tannins, again ripe red fruit, racy acidity, focused and balanced. Drinking nicely at 9 yrs old; but drink now. Too good to pass up. Kudos to Ted L.

April 8, 2019 - Layers of ripe red cherries, forest floor, and spice notes on the nose which evolve wonderfully on the refreshing palate and long finish.

January 5, 2019 - Vivid garnet in the glass. Beautifully balanced with notes of pomegranate, cranberry and neat tannins, complemented with a kernel of acidity. An elegant wine.
