May 1, 2018 - At first glance, a fairly rich wine, (for West Sonoma producers, anyway) but on balance it has a subtle balance of fruit and acidity.

October 22, 2017 - Very enjoyable. A tick behind the ‘09 as this was a bit broader and less persistent.

March 26, 2016 - Elegant & balanced with nice weight and ample acid. A true taste of the Sonoma Coast. Sea salt and Kalamata olive brine, with honeycomb, unripe pear, and umeboshi.

Outstanding with a seafood-focused tasting at Kong Hans Kælder in Copenhagen.

September 12, 2015 - Same as my note two years ago, except it has put on weight. Beautiful gold. Medium bodied. Acid. Exotic. Some pear, butter, popcorn, but not overpowering. Just about perfection for a domestic chardonnay.

December 24, 2014 - Floral fruit tree blossoms on the nose, crisp clean tart apple on the front of the tongue with subtle sweet pear on the finish. Outstanding!

September 17, 2014 - Chicago: wine, food, friends...cigars!; 9/17/2014-9/20/2014 (Blackbird, Les Nomades, Naha, with lunch at Shaw's Crab House): My first Littorai in some years, and, IIRC, my first ever from this vineyard. Served alongside a magnum of Peter Michaels' Point Rouge, the two had less in common than one might think, though each had just as many attributes in its favor. This was lighter, and brighter than the 2006 PM, more oily and citrusy, too, with really unique mineral and honeycomb character that tantalized the mind and palate alike. I seldom use the expression 'crunchy fruit', but it sure seems appropriate here; exciting stuff. Original, balanced, refreshing -- what's not to love? Thru 2021, highly recommended

Slow-O 1 hour, served non-blind. Many thanks to the cookies for sharing :D

April 22, 2014 - phenomenal. bright citrus with floral notes framing the high-toned fruit. intense flavors that avoid feeling overly rich due to excellent minerality. the oak is present but not overwhelming. wonderful on night one, even better on night 2 (accidentally left it uncorked and it was still excellent). looking forward to seeing how this evolves.
