April 7, 2021 - Ripe Black cherry & raspberry, clove, dried terragon, occasional whiff of vanilla. Nice balance throughout. Slightly short finish today

July 4, 2018 - Big & kinda raucous, but with structure to keep it in balance. Big fruit, medium mouthfeel, some floral/herb tones. Still quite young

January 20, 2018 - Inky juice with dark berries and some plum on nose. It has a nice balance of fruit, spice and fine tannins. It has aged well and in my opinion has several years to go. Overall a delicious California Syrah!

May 20, 2016 - Inky extracted color; nose shows lots of blue and purple fruit, blueberry pie, ripe blackberries, violets, youthful and very richly fruited with oak accents; palate is a wave of glycerin, fruit similar to the nose, and lots of rounded tannin, good acid to keep this fresh, bigger and rounder than what I consider this producer's style, with air this started to develop some Kalamata olive; would prefer to age this more to help soften tannin and knock the edge off the sweet fruit.

April 3, 2015 - Deep, dark, spicy, and ripe. Truly one of life's best wines.
