Community Tasting Notes 3

April 5, 2015 - Gobs of hazelnut. Fine filagree up top. Some good, firm acidity below. Not completely in synch; some may find it a bit disjointed but to me this acidity gives it good energy.

January 10, 2015 - Full, wideopen nose with good depth. Slightly four-square. Yellow fruit and chemical minerality. Modelling clay and vanilla. Generous.
Fullish, fat and fresh palate. Balanced toasty oak marry fat yellow fruit. Good acidity, but not perfect. Sligthly, slightly hollow in midpalate, yet almost tropical, thus very good. Prefers it to the 2011 F-G Boudriotte. Only lacking a bit intensity and minerality.

May 31, 2014 - With this price tag, there really has to be more than this and to me this is the problem with burgundy these days. A nice wine, well balanced, clean and quality fruit but no length and no depth so with a substantial price tag compared to the top tier in other regions in france, i won't rebuy this any time soon.
