    February 15, 2014 - Nose - earthy
Mouth - pleasant juicy red fruits, mid bodied, a touch on the light side. For food.

September 25, 2013 - Rarely do I try the same wine 2 days in a row, but this one really intrigues me. I don't like everything I taste on this wine, but I do love and respect the mature bottle aged nuances that cross the palate. Not perfect, but still vibrant and explosive black cherry fruit backed up with graphite and earth. The Cabernet and Syrah give the Sangiovese some help with the mouth feel and mid palate. Some secondary flavors like lanolin, hemlock and pepper. More weight than the Sangiovese could do by itself. A litt bit of what seems to be artificial acidity. Black cherry with acid on the finish.
