June 26, 2020 - Fantastic nose of violet florals and cool purple fruits. Typical Liger Belair, silky and smooth as it dances across the tongue with effortless persistence. Classic Vosne spice with a touch of oak yet it doesn't detract at all. As with most 2011's there was a hint of green peppercorn on the back-end of the palate yet it was not distracting and much better than most. Overall this was an outstanding experience. I have not touched many of my 2011's but When they are drinking like this already (as I've noticed with a lot of Louis Michel's wines), why wait to try one?

April 29, 2020 - What a treat. Hitting the Pinot-nerve on all cylinders, this is extremely juicy, en danseuse, pure joy with loads of feminine fruit, some herbs, but first and foremost the clean, precise fruit, that is Liger-Belair. No signs of oak, as is sometimes the case with this producer.

March 3, 2020 - Served from MG. Very fragile and elegant, en danseuse with a pure, feminin fruit and a clean cut precision. Very toung still from this format. Thank you CP.

December 5, 2019 - Classic Comtes Liger-Belair - even for the comparatively weaker 2011 vintage, this is a lovely wine with nice plummy sappiness, excellent balance and a pleasant mineral mid-palate.
