Le Logis
Anjou le Giraudiére
Rouge de Cépage Cabernet
Alc 13%
Clear moderate red in the glass
Funky cherry and earth nose
Strawberry jam but with a savory note
Nice earthiness and a bit of salinity
Some Italian spice comes through
Very interesting
Resolved tannins -

February 16, 2016 - Deep red. Nose of red berries, chalk, talcum powder and occasionally a Brett note that mostly disappeared with sufficient air. Flavors of red berries, chalk, grape, red currants and a green herbal note that makes itself known on the short finish. Good acidity and a light+ body, very easy drinking. At this stage needs a good decant. Smoother/better on day two.

December 15, 2014 - Similar to the last bottle, the nose is very expressive red fruit predominant and just a touch of earthiness. Bright acidity and resultant red fruit with a great, subtle spice that picks up weight with some air on the palate.
