July 17, 2021 - As delicious as the last bottle!

July 3, 2021 - Served with paella and was a great compliment. No tannins just a smooth and complex taste.

Probably needs to be consumed in the next couple of years.

February 19, 2021 - Friday Night Brown Bagger (Eagle Brook Country Club): Double blind. Light ruby red color, shows perhaps a bit of age. Cherry and rhubarb dominate, with red plum and earthy undertones. Cherry and rhubarb fruit on the palate. Finishes with good length. Guessed Sonoma pinot. Drink now. 91-92 pts. (R&R)

November 26, 2020 - Coravin pour on Thanksgiving day. This is a bold wine. It has the spice/green pepper notes that makes me like certain Pinots. Probably too much for some, not remarkable for me, but glad I enjoyed it.

September 4, 2019 - This was sort of a mess straight out of the bottle and really took 90+ minutes to round into decent form. This seems to suffer from showing the cooler and more tart and earthy nature of the vintage while at the same time butting heads with the lush house style. The tart cherry, that skews a little rhubarb-ish, comes across really disjointed with the fuller body and viscous mouthfeel. The finish gets very earthy, getting a little bitter and really tastes like dirt, which feels further out of place. This is clearly well made and there is an appeal in that, but this seems like it will always be fighting itself.
