June 17, 2019 - My last of six bottles. Quite a light and elegant pinot noir. Fairly complex on the nose with red pinot fruit, green herbs and some slightly rustic animal notes. Balanced and easy drinking. Probably at or close to its peak now.

December 29, 2016 - A crowd pleaser. Fruit driven with hints of cinnamon & plum. Round on the palate. A bit vacuous imo. Not my cup of tea.

December 29, 2016 - Post Christmas Tasting (@Private location): Clear, medium ruby/garnet color. Clean, medium intense and developing nose. Very interesting, very aromatic. Smoked meat, soil, not “over oaked” as other German/Swiss Pinots.
Dry, very elegant and already approachable. Joyful to drink, complex aromas with a lovely mixture of red fruits, spices and herbs that continue on the medium+ finish. Forget about Gantenbein, drink Studach!
Drinks fine now, but will continue to improve over several years!
One of the best Swiss Pinot I had so far.

    Seidig,zwischendurch leicht cremig,elegant,gute Säure,balanciert,glatte integrierteTannine.
    Mittellanger rotfruchtiger Abgang
Rotfruchtig-eleganter Pinot Noir, der auch noch ein paar Jahre liegen darf.

    June 14, 2015 - Riesling-Probe, 4. Flight: Molitor vs Studach PN
    - Beide Weine 3 Stunden vorher in Karaffe dekantiert
    - Beides tolle Weine und sehr ähnlich. Starke Säure, die aber nicht zu scharf ist. Schöne Frucht, praktisch keine Tannine oder Holz aber trotzdem vielschichtig und interessant
    - Für mich ein Remis am Ende
