June 15, 2020 - Love Boushey fruit. Likely in its prime, drink now and enjoy.

March 12, 2019 - Medium dark purple, aromas of dark fruit, herbs, menthol, and white pepper. Flavors of blackberry, and dried dark fruit, with an iron note. Very nice wine, still ticking, but probably peaked, drink now. (last bottle)

June 8, 2018 - Medium dark purple color, aromas of oak and dark fruit. Flavors of dark fruit and dark chocolate covered black currant, with a pronounced oak profile still. This may turn out good yet, but at the moment the oak is still to forward. Definitely stuff there to age for 5 more years, I'd wait another 2 years on this at least.

March 12, 2018 - Wow, what a difference from my previous bottle. Pop and pour, and this bottle was perfectly mature, if a bit primary still. Beautiful nose with a mix of black and red fruit and a touch of oak spice. On the palate, good acidity, and crushed raspberry, cinnamon, dark earth. Thr finish is very juicy with largely attenuated tannin, and fine pepper. In fact, just a dusting of very fine tannin remains....Just excellent at this stage.

February 8, 2017 - Very good to great; dark fruits, but maybe a touch too much wood. Great mouth feel.

October 10, 2014 - Day 1: Double decanted. Open for about 30 minutes. Lots of mocha, spice, vanilla on the nose with a rich mouthfeel. Great acidity and softer tannic finish than I expected. Lots of primary fruits flavors, but essentially no secondary nuances...though this is a fairly young wine.

On Day 2, this was very similar, if a bit more disjointed. Nevertheless, still very enjoyable.
