October 10, 2022 - Absolutely singing right now in its slightly more mature age. Leaning into the earthy savoriness with plum, blueberry, slight clove, a touch of oak, and a beautifully balanced finish between the fruit and earth that goes for days. Drink ‘em if you got ‘em

Look: medium garnet w/ slight bricking at edges; very slow legs
Nose: Strawberry, rhubarb(?); very simple and not very expressive
Palate: cherry, light cherry cola, dried herbs, graphite; medium+ finish of oak/stems, graphite, black pepper; dry; medium body; high- acidity; medium- small tannins
Overall: This is a tasty, balanced, and easy drinking wine with a nice mouthfeel. While enjoyable, it's simple and offers nothing special. Gooo wine.
January 19, 2022 - Nose: white pepper, cherry cola, strawberry, pencil shavings, wet forest floor, moss
Taste: med - body; high acidity; very light tannins; notes of cherry cola, chalk, potting soil, white pepper; smooth; lingering finish of white pepper and strawberry
April 25, 2021 - still vibrant
February 23, 2021 - Medium red color, nose of perfumed mix of red berries , plenty of plum and cherry fruit, trace of acidity, fairly smooth mouthfeel, long finish. Good now not sure if further aging will improve it. Served with grilled lamb chops.
February 13, 2021 - Medium ruby with an orange-tinged rim. The nose exhibits exotic aromatics, redolent of Mongolian hot pot. Underneath a layer of white pepper, cardamom and cumin one finds wet earth and red cherry.
The palate has mellowed and lost some zip since I last tasted the wine in 2018. Cherry fruit and an attractive umami note rounds out the medium long finish. Light tannins, medium acidity and goes down easy.
