November 10, 2019 - Been more than three years since my last bottle. And this is, in fact, my last bottle. I certainly enjoyed this more than the last bottle. Nose has savory-edged blue fruits with hints of herbs. Palate is compact, medium bodied with tons of blue fruit accented by a slight salinity. Tannins are prettty well resolved but still present to provide some structure for the fruit. Still not overly complex but a flavor profile that I enjoy a lot.

November 25, 2018 - The look of this wine is perfect, deep purple, dark, lovely. Nose is fruity with a hint of spice on it, slight white pepper, with smoky wood notes. Mouthfeel on this is moderate, big but not huge, balanced and even. Wood and tobacco are at the forefront and more of that pepper. I’d be very comfortable putting this with some roasted or grilled meat.

December 4, 2017 - From a difficult vintage, and with some age, I found this wine to be quite good. Wonderful mouth coating fruit from start to finish. Tannins well integrated. Wanting to keep "chewing" to taste/experience, the varied fruit flavors. Really enjoyed this wine. Wish I had more..

October 3, 2016 - Another time that I picked a wine without looking at my CT notes. Just had this wine a month ago and if I had known, I would have held this wine longer. But, oh well. This bottle was much like my bottle of a month ago. Muted flavors and like another reviewer said, kind of hollow. It was bad enough on the first day that I was prepared to pour it out if it had not improved on the second. But, luckily, it did improve some and made the wine tolerable for the final day.

August 29, 2016 - Muted flavors of blue and black fruit and dust. Did not get any better on the second day. Not sure whether this wine is just going through a backward stage or whether it is just the way it is. Either way, it is a below average wine at the present.
