September 21, 2020 - Bottle not flawed, but the juice is dusty and tired and should have drank it up earlier.
July 10, 2020 - Rich and full-bodied. This bottle held up nicely over the years. Easy to drink.
January 28, 2016 - Drank this yesterday over lunch at New Ubin Seafood with an ex-colleague.
Colour is dark purplish-red. Wonderful aromas on the nose of plums, prunes, and blackberries. On the palate the wine is soft and supple, concentrated and focused without being imposing or overwhelming. Some chocolate and coffee notes with ripe red fruits.
Simple and straightforward in nature with few complexities or surprises. A solid new world merlot which carries the characteristics of the varietal very well.

July 9, 2014 - Nice plum and berry flavors. Well balanced and this is a good value for drinking now.
July 3, 2014 - Full body Merlot, dark cherries and oak flavors, goes well with aged cheeses.
April 15, 2014 - Could definitely use a few more years of cellaring. Nonetheless the tannins are grippy but not overpowering. Can't wait for 2016!
December 22, 2013 - Star bright, dark purple...nice plum, blueberries, currant, and sweet raspberry. very slight vanilla and wood texture.
