December 6, 2019 - Similar to my last note, evolving at a glacial pace. The tannins are better integrated than a few years ago.

September 29, 2019 - Notes very similar to previous except now there is more upfront
Cherry fruit to go with described flavors

April 11, 2019 - DnP. Dark red, red edge, 5.5. Initially a bit unclean. +5min: open red fruits. Rather sappy palate with some tannins. Drink now-2025

June 10, 2018 - Deep purple hue...nose is towards the rustic barnyard, gamey, meaty,
    Stewed plum......
Flavor is all mid/back tongue....flavor really only emerges after the swallow on the finish....tar earth cooked blackberry tannin finish that
Really lasts.. not sure exactly what to think..
rustic but interesting.. I like it but couldn’t recommend it to everyone.
If you are up for an adventure...DRINK UP!

September 11, 2016 - The wine was dark ruby in colour and dominated by barnyard and horsehair aromas on the nose, complemented by red and dark fruit aromas, blueberry, some spice and some dark chocolate. The wine was equally barnyard-dominated on the palate and showed red and dark fruit flavours, cherry, blackberry, strawberry, spices, liquorice and some chocolate was well as mineral notes underneath, with lively, medium-plus acidity, medium-plus tannin and very good length. On day one, I wasn’t able to wrap my head around the barnyardiness. On day two, the wine was less barnyardy and rather driven by a combination of sweaty socks, dark cocoa powder and cashew nuts, which was a little easier to like. A serious, medium- to full-bodied wine with good concentration and complexity. I would start drinking from 2021.
