July 2, 2019 - Dark blood color concentration of dark cherry. Barely showing even with a 2+hr decant. Rather tannic finish. I can tell this is a well made wine but either the style isn’t for me or im way too early drinking this. Ill check back on this tomorrow.

March 10, 2019 - This was excellent. Still has upside - I will revisit in 2-3 yrs or so. If drinking now, give it ample air. Dark fruit, plenty of herbal notes, wet earth, dry leaves. Hints of violets. Some Asian spices (stems?) Wonderful acidity. Very impressive. Serious, brooding, changing in interesting ways over 3 hrs. A delight.

February 20, 2019 - Needs a lot of air to bring the bracing acidity into balance. But when it does there are dark red berries and savory spice notes on the nose and palate with tart cherries and lively acidity on the moderate finish.

January 26, 2019 - 4th Saturday Group (M/M thelostverse): Double blind. Notes of sassafrass, dark pinot fruit and baking spice. Shows a little hot. Cinnamon and dark pinot fruit on the palate. It's definitely CA pinot, but I am struggling to decide exactly where it is from-Sonoma or much further south. 87-88 pts.

January 26, 2019 - Tasted blind. Light color and fairly obvious Sonoma Pinot nose of light and dark red fruits. This was opened but not decanted prior to the tasting. Day two with the remnants of the bottle again showed better mouthfeel and more pronounced fruit.
