June 11, 2015 - Drank this last night with a group of wine mates at La Barca Ristorante & Wine Bar.
This wine will remain in memory for a long time.
Notes of flower petals, lavender and sour cherries. Very pronounced rose and bandung fragrance on the nose and palate. Medium body with a lush finish.
Feminine and gentle in nature which makes pairing with food challenging and interesting.

September 8, 2014 - Agree with my previous review and others, and just want to add that I'm definitely getting the black pepper flavor this time around, and agree with others that this is nice w/ a slight chill. Solid lunch wine today. I'm enjoying the floral aromas. Drink now with pizza and lighter Italian fare.
January 7, 2014 - Medium purple color. Floral nose with herbal cough drop and black cherry notes. Slightly grapey on the palate with more herbal and floral notes with a little bit of peppery spice on the back end. Medium+ acid but slightly muddled in terms of mouthfeel and finish. An enjoyable quaffer of an Italian red when served with a slight chill on it.
November 24, 2013 - Nice. A bit thin through the middle, but beautifully esoteric floral notes on the nose and a pleasant peppery note on the back end. I'm liking it.
November 8, 2013 - Deep ruby color. Floral nose that was a bit confectionery and pushing fake on the pop transitioned with air to subtle floral with soil, dark red fruits, and a minerally/medicinal note. Medium body, acid and finish, in a really bright, fresh style, and flavors of red and dark red fruits, and a bit of mineral. Good pizza wine.
October 12, 2013 - I thought this was an excellent pizza wine. Not too dry for my taste, I thought it was reminiscent of mourvedre, with a distinct tobacco juice character. Nice wine, good value.
August 26, 2013 - Dry, astringent, with a strong and unusual taste of citrus rind. A light wine that is easy to drink. Good chilled.
April 5, 2013 - Got a glass on 2nd night of being opened. Dusty nose with a hint of cured meat that I like in a syrah. Taste is a bit of a letdown (maybe 2nd night isn't right for this) where bitter tannins overpower most everything else.
