March 4, 2022 - Absolutely glorious swan song. Completely mature chianti classico as good as it gets. One a few weeks ago with a slowly simmered tomato sauce with beef-pork-veal meatballs and Rustichella d'Abruzzo pasta was harmony perfection. Tertiary chianti sweetness sings with slowly cooked sause with meatballs. Tonight was pizza with roasted vegetables and tomato sauce. Not quite a duet of Mimi and Rodolfo but still gracious. If you have any enjoy now.

January 4, 2021 - Medium purple with minimal garnet. Nice nose of full fruit and spice with green notes. Palate is medium bright cherry and earthy spice. Minimal tannins with medium acid. Opened 2 hours prior. Try a one hour decanting next time.

December 19, 2018 - Love this wine. Medium cherry red color with slight bricking around the edge. Lead pencil, tar, black and dark fruit. Some eucalypus or menthol. Palate is beautifully balanced. Not sure how to better describe the mouthfeel; it's firm structure, yet soft.
