May 22, 2022 - Decanted for 2 hours. Served single blind in a tasting of 9 wines, my first place wine. Red/orange color. The nose is beautiful, showing faded cherry, brown sugar, sandalwood and spice. Lots of stems showing through after 32 years, this is very Dujac. Light weight palate, showing muted dried cherry fruit, that is intense without being heavy. The proverbial iron fist in a velvet glove, perfectly mature Burgundy for my palate.

February 6, 2021 - not sure if it's the bottle condition or what. very disappointing moment. most exciting bottle of the night but it has a funky nose / dirty that never quite blew off and was also a bit harsh on the palate, metallic and not much complexity to it. Likely just off.

August 29, 2020 - Dense ripe fruit with only the beginnings of a more complex nose. Required 45 minutes in the glass to begin to open up. More time required for this one. 95+

June 18, 2020 - Very strong performance for this wine. More expressive than other bottles but still with firm underpinnings. Another decade in the bottle helpful here.

January 5, 2018 - Dujac. Complete harmony. Aromatics, palate, etc. Can go months without drinking something that leaves one so contented.
